Kwara NAWOJ congratulates Omowole, Oladimeji
This was contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Ilorin.
The statement was jointly signed by the Chairperson of the union, Hajia Binta Mora, and Secretary, Mrs Bola Olupinla.
It said the election was widely adjudged free and fair, adding that this would mark a good beginning for women journalists across the country.
The statement expressed optimism that the election would now usher in a strong and reliable leadership which would promote issues of womanhood.
“We pray that the advent of the Ifeyinwa and Oladimeji team will usher in progress for the association,” it said.
