Kwara United hold Shooting Stars in Ilorin.
After a 2-2 friendly game with Shooting Stars sports club of Ibadan in Ilorin on Friday, the Technical Adviser Kwara United FC, Samso Unuanel said his new signing are yet to key into the main team.
Unuanel in chat with The Herald on Sunday league after the game explained the he used the game to test the new players but as they could not measure up in the first half of the game, he have to replace then with the main team.
He said the performance of his team generally as impressive noting that games between United and Shooting Stars were never easy.
“It is part of our pre-season programme to play big time friends and see how the boys will key into the team.”
“They are coming from different environments and are not all that big players, they are young players and it is going to take time before they could blend properly with team.
Kwara United came from behind twice to level up with the visitors.
Kwara United two goals were scored in the second half through well taken free kicks by Yusuf Abuabakar.
