APC Will Sweep All Elections in Kwara - Saraki

The scion of the Saraki political dynasty, Dr Bukola Saraki yesterday told the national leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) to go and sleep, assuring that he would deliver Kwara state to the party hundred percent during the 2015 poll.

Saraki who ruled Kwara for eight years as governor single handedly installed his successor, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed.

The chairman, Senate committee on environment and ecology gave the assurance shortly after registering as a member of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Agbaji, Ajikobi Ward in Ilorin West local government area of the state .

He expressed satisfaction over the turn out of kwarans for the APC's registration.

He noted that the enthusiasm showed by the people in the registration exercise clearly show the acceptability of the party.

Also, two members of the house of Representatives, Dr Ali Ahmad and Hon. Mashood Mustapha thanked Kwarans for their solidarity with Saraki, which they noted culminated in the unprecedented turn out for the exercise.

Ahmad registered at Balogun Fulani ward 3 while Mustapha registered at his Isale Aluko ward.

Saraki added, "today I have been registered as a bonafide member of APC, it is a great joy that this journey has gotten to this stage and Insha Allah the party will take us to the promised land."

He explained that this kind of enthusiasm was shown when ANPP came to the state, when PDP came it also happen and that now that the APC is here history will repeat itself.

He said the party officials should go home to sleep as APC will surely form the government by wining all the 193 wards in the state.

He called on other people in the state who are still managing other political parties to dump them and move to APC for better prosperity.

In his remark, the leader of the APC registration monitoring group and former minister of works, Dr Hassan Lawan said going by the rules of the party Senator Saraki has satisfied the provisions to become a member.
