Zone "B" area is made up of: FCT, Kaduna/ Katsina, Kano/ Jigawa, Niger/ Kwara/ Kogi and Sokoto/ Kebbi/ Zamfa commands.

Alu told the men and officers of the customs that their promotion came with more serious responsibility.

"These officers and men are part of over 4000 people promoted in the Nigeria Custorms Service," Alu said. 

"The promotion is a call to a higher duty and you must proof that your choice was not an error. As revenue collectors, you must ensure transparency and diligent because the CG will be proud of us if we live to expectation in line with the transformation agenda," he said.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, Damadoma Baba, a superintendent who was decorated as chief superintendent thanked the management of the Nigeria Customs Service and assured that they will live to expectation.
