Three die in Kwara gas explosion
A gas explosion in Jebba, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State is reported to have killed at least three people.
Residents told Daily Trust yesterday that among the victims was a popular businessman in Ilorin identified as Babatunde Alabiade Peter, the proprietor of Atdol ice-block factory along Obbo road in Ilorin.
Peter was said to have left for work Tuesday when he received a call from a yet to be identified cold room operator in Jebba to repair a machine. It was gathered that the deceased left along with one Julius who also died in the explosion. He was said to be refilling the gas of one of the machines with his workers when the explosion took place.
