Modern buildings spring up in Ilorin
Ibrahim Taiwo Road is one of the famous roads in llorin, the Kwara State capital. It is unarguably the number one commercial center in the metropolis. This road is of two segments; Taiwo Oke and Taiwo Isale (meaning, Upper Taiwo and LowerTaiwo).
Despite the fact that this road forms a straight line, starting from Queen Elizabeth School, (QES) llorin, downward to the Emir Road junction, it is surprising that the Lower Taiwo area in the past did notattractthe attention of major business morgues.
The upper Taiwo area is characterized with quite a number of business activities which markedly makes it the first point of call for people when it comes to shopping and purchase of electronic appliances among other commodities.
Unlike Lower Taiwo Road, Upper Taiwo accommodates the highest number of commercial banks, eateries and a host of other corporate offices. All these factors eluded the Lower Taiwo and it has been the situation many years ago.
In the recent times, Lower Taiwo has now become a center of attraction for business tycoons which ostensibly necessitates the springing up of modern buildings as well as other business outfits.
This new development is gradually giving the area a new look. The Lower Taiwo area is now bubbling with business activities and if it continues with this pace, it will compete vavorable with that of upper area in no distant time
