Hundreds of the Peoples Democratic Party members from the Ajikobi ward in the IIorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State has pledged their loyalty and support to the Abubakar Baraje-led PDP.

The spokesperson of the members, Alhaji Abdulkareem Lambe, who disclosed this while addressing newsmen at the end of the monthly meeting of the party at Ajikobi ward, noted that the new PDP’s chieftains would emerge victorious in the ongoing crisis within the PDP.

The meeting was attended by all the political office holders including the immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Emergency and Relief Services, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi, who was recently confirmed by the state House of Assembly as Commissioner in the state.

He added that they threw their weight behind the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki, describing him as a blessing to the state.

The spokeperson urged party members in the ward and the state in general to remain calm.
