Three seriously injured in Tanke accident

Date: 2012-04-13

Three people were seriously injured this night on Tunde Idiagbon Road (University Road), Tanke as their vehicle crashed into a roro-bin. The car, a Mazda 323, driven by a young woman obviously did not the see the roro bin. There were neither reflective strips on the roro bin nor were the newly fitted street lights on. Perhaps the ghastly accident would have been avoided if these were in place.

The injured were removed from the wreckage of the car with the aid of axes. The three injured persons have been moved to a hospital by the police and men of the FRSC .
