November Allocation: KWSG Gets N2.2bn, LGs get N1.66bn

Kwara Releases Details of November Allocation The Kwara State government has released federal allocation figures for the month of November, 2016. According to figures released on Wednesday by the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu, the State government received a total of N2, 233, 401, 908.90 as allocation for November. While giving a breakdown of the allocation figures, Alhaji Banu disclosed that the State government got a statutory revenue allocation N781, 486, 678.02; Value Added Tax (VAT) of N658, 999, 903.27; exchange gain difference of N207, 525, 922.98 and excess Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT) of N585, 389, 404.63, totaling N2, 233, 401, 908.90. The Finance Commissioner also gave details of the allocation received by the 16 local government councils in the State for the month of November to include statutory revenue allocation of N759, 191, 418.32; Value Added Tax (VAT) of N374, 306, 456.82; exchange gain difference of N136, 877, 413.27 and excess Petroleum Profit Tax of N392, 699, 670.60, giving a total of N1, 663, 074, 959.01.
