An ilorin based Islamic scholar Ustaz Gambari Gbodofu gave the advice in Ilorin while speaking at the Fidau for the uncle of the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly Alhaji Abdullahi Toyin Ayinla.

Ustaz Gbodofu explained that whatever done on earth would be accounted before Allah on the day of resurrection and enjoined muslims to leave a legacy worthy of emulation to improve the well being of Muslims.

He described the deceased as humble, pious and caring who devoted his life towards serving Allah and humanity.

The Islamic Scholar then urged Muslims to emulate his virtues to make Nigeria a worthy place to live in.

In his short sermon, a University Don Dr. AbdulRahman Ahmad of the Al-Hikmah University urged muslims to always embark on project that would improve on the well being of the people in memory of the departed souls.

Imam Isa Alaga - Ogun had earlier led other Islamic Scholars in prayer for the deceased in the Fidau attended by the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly Dr. Ali Ahmad, Former Members of the State Executive Council, University Dons, Prominent Islamic Scholars, Politicians and family as well as associates of the deceased.
