Ahmed sues for continued peace to sustain development
Governor Ahmed, who gave the advice at Government House, Ilorin on his return from the Eid-el-fitri prayers, said Kwara State has served as a good place for people across the country because the state is both peaceful and receptive to all.
"I want to urge our people to continue to be law abiding; to continue to love one another and continue to strengthen each other’s capacity so that we sustain the level of investment being attracted to the state," he added.
The governor expressed gratitude to Allah for taking Muslims in the state, Nigerian and all over the world through the month of Ramadan and prayed Allah to continue to grant the people the benefits that come with the holy month.
While thanking Kwarans for their prayers and support so far, Dr. Ahmed solicited for more prayers and peaceful coexistence among the people to enable him deliver greater dividends of democracy.
