Saraki Commiserates with NUJ
The former governor of Kwara State and Chairman Senate committee on Environment and Ecology, Senator Bukola Saraki has expressed his deepest sympathy on the death of the three journalists from Lagos and Oyo State Councils of the Nigerian Union of Journalists who died in an automobile accident in the line of their duty over the weekend.
Senator Saraki while joining the nation to mourn this tragic loss has described their death as a painful one. Saraki speaking from Lesser Hajj through his Special Assistant on Media, Bamikole Omisore, said words cannot express how sorry he is to hear of the devastating news.
He said the death of these young gentlemen is sad development in many ways both for the country and their respective families, he expressed how saddened he is particularly that the country can no longer enjoy their professional services which they took years to acquire.
The Senator commiserated with the president and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) on the tragic loss of their colleagues and the families of the deceased.
Saraki enjoined all to pray for forgiveness for the departed souls and grant the families the fortitude to bear this painful loss .
