The University of Ilorin has expelled 24 of its students due to various acts of misconduct.

The photos of the affected students from various departments and faculties were displayed at the designated students' notice boards on the university main campus.

The expulsion was the outcome of the Students' Disciplinary Committee(SDC) meeting which sat on various acts of misconduct levelled against the students. The students were said to have been involved in examination malpractice, improper dressing and belonging to unregistered associations among others.

Some of the students were to graduate this year and some should have graduated years ago.

The Dean of Students' Affairs in the institution, Professor Abayomi Omotesho, said the affected students did not conduct themselves properly and advised other students to familiarise themselves with the university's rules and regulations.
