A brace from Ebube Okpokwu helped El Kanemi Warriors record a comprehensive 4-1 win over visiting ABS FC in an NPFL, Week 10 game played on Thursday evening.

The Warriors signalled their intent to hound the visitors from the start and the early pressure paid off as Ebube Okpokwu scored after just six minutes to put the hosts in the lead.

Returnee striker Ezekiel Thompson doubled El Kanemi's lead with a goal in the 21st minute to hand the hosts a two-goal advantage going into the break.

Reuben Ogbonnaya's 55th minute goal compounded ABS' woes but the hosts were not done as Okpokwu scored again in the 69th minute to seal the win for El Kanemi.

A last minute consolatory goal from Ajibola Otegbeye was not enough to save face for ABS who were involved in a road accident on their way to honour this fixture.

ABS will travel to Akure to face Sunshine Stars while El Kanemi travel to Ilorin to face ABS' city rivals Kwara United this weekend.
