Dr Bukola Saraki, Proprietor, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC of Ilorin, has announced the payment of double bonus to the players and officials of the team for winning their Sunday game.

ABS had on Sunday at the Kwara Stadium, Ilorin, beaten visiting newly-promoted Bayelsa United 2-0 in their Week 7 encounter in the ongoing 2012/2013 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Media Officer of the team, Jimoh Bashir, said in a statement on Monday in Ilorin that the bonus was in appreciation of the boys for making the proprietor proud.

"He announced the double bonus for the team, in appreciation of the good play and the result," the statement said.

It added that Saraki announced the bonus less than 24 hours after the match, saying that his team exhibited determination against the former champions of Nigeria's apex league.

It said the match which was aired live by Supersports; a South Africa-based international television station had Saraki as a spectator for the first time in the 2012/2013 league season.
