APC Will Win Landslide Victory in Kwara Come 2027, Says Party Secretary
All Progressives Congress (APC) will have landslide victory in the 2027 presidential, governorship and other elections in Kwara state, APC state Secretary Mohammed Mustapha Salman has said. Salman added that opposition parties were non-existent in the state.
The APC scribe said this in Shao, Moro local government area of the state, on the sideline of the inauguration of Asiwaju Grassroots Alliance Initiative (AGAIN) and empowerment programme.
Said he: "The results of the election in Kwara will surprise everybody in Nigeria. Kwara will lead every other state in terms of polls outcome for the presidential, governorship and National Assembly elections.
"APC will lead any other party in the state. Indeed, there is no other party in existence apart from APC in the state. Everybody in the state will vote for APC.
"In other words Kwara will deliver 100 per cent of its votes to APC as we did in 2019 and 2023." On the forthcoming APC congresses, he said that every modality had been put in place to ensure hitch-free congresses.
Earlier, AGAIN Founder Hussein Afolabi promised to take the Renewed Hope message to all the nooks and crannies of the state ahead of the 2027 elections.
Afolabi, a lawyer, added that his organisation would "organise, mobilise, educate and unite our people. We will take the Renewed Hope message to every ward, every polling unit, every household, not just in Moro LGA, but across Kwara North and the entire state.
"And by the grace of God, through unity, discipline and grassroots strength, we will deliver overwhelming support for our President and Leader Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027."
He used the avenue to launch the Moro Petty Cash Transfer Scheme "which will provide N10,000 each to petty traders in the LGA; procurement of JAMB forms for 50 students and the launch of five million Naira Ejire Education Trust Fund, established under the Hassan and Hussein Afolabi Foundation."
Afolabi added that the launch of AGAIN "is to clearly situate our message within the visible reforms in leadership both here in Kwara State and at the national level under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu."
