Kwara United Striker Moses Nyebe Sidelined for 12 Weeks with Tibia Fracture

Date: 2025-09-10

Kwara United striker Moses Nyebe has been ruled out for approximately 12 weeks after sustaining a fractured right tibia during a training session ahead of the team's Matchday 4 fixture against Warri Wolves.

The club confirmed the injury update on Tuesday, revealing that Nyebe has undergone comprehensive medical assessment and is now beginning the recovery process.

His absence represents a significant setback for the Harmony Boys, who face a busy schedule in the coming weeks, including domestic league commitments and an upcoming clash with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup next month.

The Ilorin-based club expressed confidence in its medical team's ability to support a full and timely recovery while preparing to adjust tactically in Nyebe's absence.
