Professor Sulaiman Sheu Adua has been appointed as the new Dean of Student Affairs at Kwara State University (KWASU). The two-year appointment, effective immediately, was communicated via a letter signed by Registrar Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee and Deputy Registrar (HRD) Mrs Josephine Agbana.

Professor Adua, a scholar of Islamic History in KWASU's Department of Religious Studies, holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Ilorin. His appointment reflects the university's focus on academic leadership and institutional governance.

A pioneer staff member of Kwara State University, Professor Adua, comes to the job with several administrative experience.

He has served in many capacities such as being a member of the Examination Monitoring Committee, member of the admissions committee, Chair of the Welfare Committee, Director of the Centre for Advanced and Basic Studies, and Coordinator KWASU-CAILS foundation program.

Professor Sulaiman Sheu Adua will deliver KWASU's 18th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
