IEDPU Hails Dr Aremu for Outstanding Leadership at Lower Niger River Basin Authority
The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has extended its congratulations to the immediate past Managing Director of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin, Dr Adeniyi Saheed Aremu, on the successful completion of his term at the agency.
In a statement, the Union praised Dr Aremu for his significant contributions towards achieving the objectives of the authority during his two-term tenure. It noted that the impact of the Authority's work was evident throughout its jurisdiction, benefiting communities far and wide.
The Spokesman of the Union, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, who issued the statement on behalf of the President, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, described the former Managing Director as an hardworking and highly organised professional who discharged his responsibilities to the best of his ability.
The statement specifically recalled the support of the Associate Professor of Environmental and Water Resources Engineering at University of Ilorin to the Union and several communities across Ilorin Emirate and beyond during his tenure.
The Union wished Dr Aremu success in his future endeavours.
