Adekunle and Gata Miss Key NPFL Match After Midweek Disciplinary Actions
Segun Adekunle and Issa Gata have been ruled out of Kwara United's Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 22 fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors, according to DAILY POST reports.
Both players will sit out the game due to suspension. Adekunle picked up his fifth booking of the season during the midweek loss to Niger Tornadoes, while Gata was sent off with a red card in the same match.
Both players have been key to Tunde Sanni's side in their push for a continental spot next season.
Kwara United will face El-Kanemi in Ilorin on Monday.
The Harmony Boys occupy 12th position in the NPFL table with 26 points.
