Hajia Maimunat Oloriegbe Supports Local Entrepreneurs Through MATTA Girls Foundation
IncNews247 reports that no fewer than 25 individuals received support from MATTA Girls Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Hajia Maimunat Oloriegbe, at its latest empowerment event held in Ilorin on Sunday.
The beneficiaries were provided with various working tools, including freezers, welding machines, sewing machines, grinding machines, and hairdressing equipment, along with startup capital. Additionally, petty traders were each granted ?50,000, and all attendees left with assorted raw food items.
Hajia Oloriegbe expressed that this initiative aligns with MATTA Girls Foundation's mission to assist those in need, particularly women. Reflecting on her own entrepreneurial experiences, she encouraged beneficiaries to make the most of the support provided.
Beneficiaries, including Mrs. Isiak Maimunah and Malama Lami Muhammad, expressed heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging Hajia Oloriegbe's generosity.
In a related development, MATTA Girls Foundation visited the Nigerian Correctional Service, Medium Correctional Centre, Mandala, Kwara State, on Monday, donating food and essential items, such as toiletries, praying mats, and sleepers.
Hajia Oloriegbe advised inmates to remain steadfast in prayer and hopeful for better days ahead. She assured them of continued support to ease their living conditions.
ACP Adekumbi Sunday, Officer-in-charge, appreciated Hajia Oloriegbe's kind gesture, urging others to emulate MATTA Girls Foundation's humanitarian efforts.
These events marked the launch of MATTA Girls Foundation's new season of humanitarian efforts and Hajia Oloriegbe's birthday celebration.
