NSCDC Kwara Command Pledges Stronger Alliance with Forest Security Services Against Crime
Royal News highlights that the Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Umar J.G. Mohammed, has reiterated the Corps' commitment to strengthening its collaboration with the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service to combat crime within Kwara's forested areas.
Commandant Umar emphasized this commitment on Monday, 4 November 2024, during a courtesy visit by ACG A.A. Ibrahim and his delegation at the State Command Headquarters in Ilorin.
He acknowledged the NHFSS as an indispensable ally in advancing security in the state and urged its members to persist in providing credible information that would enhance the operational effectiveness of security agencies in their mission to eliminate all forms of criminality.”
In his response, ACG A.A. Ibrahim expressed profound appreciation to the Commandant for the sustained support and collaborative efforts extended to the service. He added that the visit is part of a strategic initiative to deepen cooperation and strengthen efforts aimed at addressing criminal activities within the state's forested regions.
