Prof. Ali Ahmad Extends Condolences to Emir of Ilorin Over Sarki Gobir's Death

Royal News reports that the Speaker of the 8th Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, has extended his deepest sympathies to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, following the death of Captain Muhammad Yusuf Gobir, the Sarki Gobir of the Ilorin Emirate.

Captain Gobir passed away on Saturday in Ilorin, as confirmed by family members.

In a condolence message issued and signed by his media office spokesperson, Steve Makinde, Prof. Ahmad also conveyed his condolences to the immediate family of the late titleholder, praying that Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him eternal peace.

Prof. Ali, who described the passing of the late traditional title holder of Ilorin Emirate and foremost public servant as one death too many condoled with the good people of Ilorin East Local Government Area of the state. He urged those affected by his death to take solace in the exemplary legacies and impact of Sarki Gobir in Ilorin and Kwara as a whole.

He also prayed Allah to admit the transition of the late public servant to the Highest rank in Aljanatil Fridaus.
