Fish Out Attackers of Emir of Kano, Saraki Tells Security Agencies
Former Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has challenged security agencies in the country to fish out those who attacked the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and bring them to justice to serve as deterrent to others.
Saraki also condemned the attack, describing it as dastardly and very unfortunate.
The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in a statement through his media aide, Akintoba Fatigun said that bringing the culprits to justice would send the right signal that the security operatives "are up and doing in their responsibilities."
He also asked security agencies to beef up intelligence network and work as a team to nip in the bud, such dangerous trend.
The statement said: "I am saddened by the news of this barbaric attack towards a peace loving and respected Emir. Why on earth will such wicked act come to the thought of anyone. The security challenges in the country has taken a new dimension and from all indications. No one seems to be safe" .
