Posthumous Award of Excellence Presented to Late Senator Rafiu Ibrahim by PCRC
According to a news report from Leadership, the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has bestowed a posthumous award of excellence upon the late Senator Rafiu Ibrahim.
The award recognizes his exceptional philanthropic contributions and the enduring legacy he left behind in service to his community and the nation. Professor Muritala Awodun and Bilal Ibrahim received the award during a ceremony held at Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan, the national chairman of PCRC, presented the award. He emphasized that this posthumous honor reflects Senator Rafiu Ibrahim's unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others throughout his lifetime.
Although Senator Ibrahim is no longer with us, his influence and contributions will continue to be celebrated and remembered.
In a similar vein, the Nigerian Senate also paid tribute to the late Ibrahim. Following a motion raised by Senator Lola Ashiru, who represents Kwara South, the senators observed a minute of silence in honor of the departed senator and offered prayers for the repose of his soul.
Additionally, the Senate leadership directed that the chamber pay a condolence visit to his family.
