2 Survive As Car Rams Into Solar Pole In Kwara
Two people on Tuesday escaped death in Kwara State when a vehicle rammed into a solar power pole while avoiding another car in Irewolede, Ilọrin LGA.
A witness, Sulyman, who noted that the accident happened around 2pm involving a Mercedes Benz saloon and a Toyota Camry, said both drivers were driving at high speed on the same lane heading towards Asa Dam.
He explained that, “But in an attempt to move away from the driver of the Toyota Camry who was testing it after carrying out an alignment, the driver of the Mercedes Benz hit a solar pole with such a great impact.
“If not for the obstruction, the car would have rammed into some fruit sellers and residents who were across the road.”
