Ilorin records first rain in 2023
Ilorin, Kwara State capital recorded its first rain of the year on Saturday, DAILY POST reports.
The rain brought relief to residents of the state capital after several days of severe heat and hostile weather.
Although the rain was heavy with thunderstorms in some areas of the state capital, particularly Zango-Kulende Quarters, some parts, however, witnessed light showers.
Recall that NIMET had predicted early rains in some parts of the country this year.
Already, Lagos and Port Harcourt in Rivers state have had their first rains earlier in the year.
