A PDP member in Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulkadir Shuaib Aniba has described Shoprite Mall's debut as another landmark in government's concerted efforts to take the state to the next level.

Speaking on the new Shoprite Mall at Fate road, Ilorin, an initiative of former governor Bukola Saraki, Alhaji Aniba said it would go a long way to add to the list of projects which help to show Kwara State to the outside world.

Alhaji Aniba, a board member of The Herald newspapers, said Shoprite as an international market, and the completed remodeled and expanded Ilorin Central mosque have helped to boost the tourist potentials of the state capital.

He said the expanded central mosque has placed Ilorin on the world map as one of the latest and best tourist points in the world.

He commended Senator Bukola Saraki for his visionary and purposeful leadership which has impacted positively on the socio- economic life of the citizens.

Aniba said that the opening of shoprite in the state would not only create job opportunities for the teeming youths, but also showcase the state in the world map of business.

He said that the state government has places high premium on the living standard of people, adding that the government has created conducive environment for industrial development of the state.

The Board member implored Kwarans to continue to support the present administration in order to take the state to greater level.

Alhaji Aniba appealed to Muslims to troop out enmass and witness the commissioning of the mosque.
