The Central Working Committee, Ilorin Central Jumaat Mosque, on behalf of the Emir of Ilorin and the Custodian of the Mosque, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for donating the sum of Ten Million (N10 M) Naira Only towards the up keep of the mosque and replacement of its customised rugs which is estimated to cost about One Hundred Million (N100,000:00) Naira Only.

The Committee wishes to place on record the support it has received from the Governor and other indigenes and friends of Ilorin Emirate over the years towards the maintenance of the spiritual edifice.

The customised rugs currently in use were purchased and fixed about ten years ago and they needed to be replaced as they are wearing out to the displeasure of the Mosque's Management Committee and worshippers.

The Committee, therefore, uses this medium to appeal to other privileged sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate as well as our friends all over the world to support the Mosque towards replacing outdated or expired items.
