Kwara State Monthly Sanitation Exercise Holds Saturday August 28th, 2021

This is to inform the general public that the monthly sanitation exercise for the month of August will hold on Saturday 28th, 2021 from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

Members of the public are hereby enjoined to fully participate in the sanitation exercise by cleaning their residential and business environments.

Everybody is expected to stay at home to clean up their surroundings.

The monitoring agencies will be on ground to monitor compliance and it will be strictly observed across all the 16 Local Government Areas in the State.

According to a release issued by the Ministry of Environment, there will be no vehicular and human movement except those on essential services.

Violators of Environmental Laws during the sanitation exercise would be tried and sanctioned by Mobile Courts stationed at designated points across the State.

Waste management trucks will be on the street for waste collection and disposal to the the final dumpsite during the exercise in the Ilorin metropolis.
