Emir of Ilorin salutes Prof. Jamiu Oyawoye at 94

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Doyen of Geology in Africa, Professor Jamiu Oyawoye as he clock 94 years on earth.

Sulu-Gambari in his goodwill message signed by his Spokesperson, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Thursday described the Baba Adini of Kwara State as a kind-hearted and loving man of integrity.

The Emir also stressed that Professor Oyawoye is a special product and gift to Africa continent and humanity at large adding that he never had cause to doubt his integrity and devotion to his Creator.

Emir of Ilorin salutes Prof. Jamiu Oyawoye at 94 He said: "Professor Jamiu Mosobalaje Oyawoye has by all standards raised the bar and promoting the images of Offa community, Kwara State and Nigeria at large with outstanding scholarship and reliable mentoring of generations.

"God gave Baba Adini enormous talents, God gave him the time and the courage of conviction to reduce his thoughts into strong devotion to Allah's cause. Future generations would learn from his wealth of experience and commitments to intellectualism." Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore prayed that Allah should continue to strengthen Professor Oyawoye for the good of Africa continent and humanity at large.
