The leadership tussle rocking the Kwara State Chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE) has been harmoniously resolved, as both factions came to a roundtable to discuss their differences and agreed to a truce so as to have a united voice for the workers they represent.

The Caretaker Committee Chairman, Comrade Kawu Atolagbe who led Members of its Executives and Comrade Oloruntade Ibikunle, the State Deputy President of the Elongated Executive who led their faction, unanimously agreed to conduct an election not later than Wednesday, 20th January 2021 with each parties nominating three (3) members each, while the Chairman Kwara State Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Umar Danladi Shero is to chair the Electoral Committee.
