On behalf of the Olofa in council and Offa community, I congratulate a true son of the soil, Dr Remi Oyindasola Oni on his new mantle of leadership as the Chairman of National Pension Commission (PENCOM).

The appointment came as a result of hard work and dedication displayed over the years. This is indeed a well-deserved conferment and a great opportunity to serve Nigeria and as well represent our dear Offa Community. Dr Oni is a seasoned banker with well over two decades of experience. Prior to this appointment, he was the Executive Director, Corporate Banking at First Bank of Nigeria.

He attended the prestigious Offa Grammar School, Offa where he graduated in 1977. He has been a key member of Offa Security Trust Fund and contributed immensely to the building of 68 Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron Base in Offa. Furthermore, he has been a cardinal advocate and ardent contributor towards the actualization of our vision - OFFA TUNTUN.

We pray for God guidance, wisdom and abundant health for him so that he can discharge his duties diligently.
