KWARA GOV GREETS SENATOR SADIQ UMAR ON 50TH BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY

Date: 2020-06-09

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Monday congratulated Senator Sadiq Umar on his 50th birthday anniversary, calling him a team player, a grassroots politician, and an excellent advocate of good governance.

"On behalf of my family and the government, I congratulate distinguished Senator Sadiq on his golden jubilee (birthday) anniversary. It is my prayer that Almighty Allah continue to grant him good health, more wisdom, and long life," the Governor said in a statement.

"For the record, Senator Sadiq has redefined legislative representation for the people of Kwara North in just one year. He, like his colleagues, has been very supportive of our administration's efforts to reposition Kwara for greatness and positive impact in the lives of our people. We particularly acknowledge his contributions to the COVID-19 fight in Kwara State, and we pray Allah to continue to bless him."
