IPMAN Adjust Petrol Prices in Kwara
Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in Kwara State has begun to adjust their dispensing meters to reflect the self-determined prices ranging between N110 and N125 per litre in the state.
THISDAY who visited some of the filling petrol stations in Ilorin, Omu-Aran, Offa, Ganmo among other towns noticed that the petrol product was bought at N108 per litre and sold between N110 and N125 per litre to vehicle owners.
It was gathered that filling stations along Offa Garage sold petrol at N125 per litre and at N120 per litre at Sango, Murtala Road and Oke Oyi area of Ilorin, the state capital.
Investigations gathered in some parts of Ilorin and environs also revealed that the development had made the product available in the area unlike in recent past that long queues were witnessed all around the state.
It was also gathered that petrol product was still being sold at N97 per litre by NNPC Mega stations when it is available, but with the attendant long queues of motorists
Speaking with some motorists in Ilorin on the development, they said they were forced to buy the products between N110 and N125.
They called the state government to intervene by setting up a task force to regulate the sale of petroleum products in the state since there was no new price by government.
