Kwara govt vow to enhance community

Kwara state government says it will continue to execute programme and policies that are geared towards making life better for the common man in the nooks and cranny of the state.

The state Deputy governor , Mr Kayode Alabi stated this at the commissioning of three bore holes donated by Alhaji Abdulmumini Sanni Jawondo in Ilorin West local government area of the state.

Represented by Barrister Hassan Garba , the deputy governor said the provisions of portable drinking water has been on the priority list of the state government.

According to him the present administration will put permanent end to the use of trucks to distribute water in the state.

The deputy governor explained that other areas that has direct impact on the common man will also receive adequate attention.

Mr Alabi assured the residents of the state of the determination of the administration in supporting those who have the capacity to assist in providing basic amenities to the people of the state.

Earlier in his address Alhaji Abdulmumini Sanni Jawondo said the aim of the project was to alleviate water hardship being experinced by residents in some part of the state .

He said arrangements have been concluded to sink about 50 bore holes across the state.
