Bamigboye's death a sad loss to Kwara: Belgore

Date: 2018-09-22

The passing on Friday of Pa David Bamigboye is a huge loss to the people of Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole. The death of the elder statesman comes at a critical moment in the history of our state as patriots are again coming together to resuscitate the dream of a greater Kwara, a state he had the honour of leading when it was first created in 1967. A Brigadier-General of the Nigerian Army, the elder statesman contributed his fair quota to national development and he would be sorely missed.

I commiserate with his family, our people of Omu-Aran and of Kwara as a whole. I pray the Almighty God to rest his soul and comfort the family.

Muhammad Dele Belgore SAN

Kwara APC Governorship Aspirant
