Emulate Leah Sharibu, Samuel Abidoye C&S Spiritual Leader advise Christians

Date: 2018-04-02

A cleric, Most Rev. Samuel Abidoye has advised Nigerians, especially Christians to emulate the exceptional spiritual devotion to God exhibited by Leah Sharibu, one of the Dapchi Abducted girls still in captivity.

Abidoye is the Spiritual Father of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.

He gave the advice during the installation of some church leaders in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara on Sunday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Special Apostle/Prophet Samuel Oyedepo was installed as the new leader of Omu-Aran District Headquarters of the Church at the event.

The district comprises of Kogi, Ekiti and Kwara State.

While Special Apostle Michael Korode became the new Chairman of Omu-Aran District of the church.

Abidoye said the best solution to ward off challenges or whatever circumstances we are faced as human was to hold unto God in prayers.

He expressed sadness that most Nigerians, especially religious leaders, often time jettisoned God's doctrine as a result of simple life affliction.

"That little girl called Leah has challenged everyone of us by refusing to denounce her faith while in the lions den.

"If that girl with the little faith in her can dare the consequence.

"Then what about followers or leaders who are selling their lives to the devil due to simple life difficulty that require us to only hold unto God.

"Even those challenges confronting the country, no matter how big, are within God's intervention through our prayers" he said.

He advised the newly installed leaders to be more devoted and dedicated in their spiritual responsibilities.

Abidoye also charged those at the nation's helms of affairs to be God fearing and imbibe transparency, equity, diligence and honesty in their dealings.

Oyedepo, the newly installed District Headquarters leader of the church in Omu-Aran described the elevation as a call to serve God and humanity.

"This is a call to do more and not to be carry away by the euphoria of leadership," he said.

Korode, on his part, thanked members and leaders of the church for the opportunity given to him to contribute his quota to the growth, progress and development of the church. (NAN)
