...Kwara delegates making consultations

Date: 2017-12-09

Delegates from Kwara State at today's PDP national convention have said they are yet to decide on who to support until exhaustive consultations are made by their leaders with other zones.

A statement signed by a delegate from the state, Alhaji Ilyasu Ibrahim, said delegates from the state dissociated themselves from the advertorial in support of a chairmanship aspirant signed by one Barr. Iyiola Oyedepo.

Alhaji Ilyasu Ibrahim, who is also a candidate for ex-officio, in the statement, said: "We shall however abide by the decision of the National Caretaker Committee in zoning to the South.

"On the issue of National Publicity Secretary, the Kwara delegates will abide by the micro-zoning of the North-Central to vote Barr. Kabiru Mohammed Usman from Kogi State," the statement said.
