Hajj - Med-View Partners Tour Operators, Completes Airlift

Med-View Airline Plc has partnered Hajj and Umrah tour operators across the country to airlift pilgrims to Jeddah and Madinah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2017 Hajj exercise.

The airline commenced the airlift of 'international pilgrims', as those who registered through tour operators are called, on Thursday after completing the airlift of state pilgrims as one of the official carriers appointed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Med-View was the first airline out of four carriers involved in the operations to complete the airlift of pilgrims who registered through the state Muslim pilgrims welfare boards.

The airline deployed wide-bodied aircraft to airlift pilgrims to King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah and Prince Muhammed Bn Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Medinah.

About 10,000 state pilgrims were allocated to the airline and their airlift has since been completed.

Med-View airlifted pilgrims from Kaduna International Airport, Kaduna; Ilorin International Airport, Ilorin, Kwara State and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos. Those airlifted included pilgrims from Kaduna, Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Edo, among others.
