A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje has called for collaborative effort to make Kwara State industrial hub of the nation.

Alhaji Baraje in a statement issued to felicitate with the government and people of Kwara State on the golden jubilee celebration of the state, stressed the need to fastrack development and growth of the state through Public-Private Partnership initiative.

The APC Chieftain asked government to develop economic blueprint and identify untapped areas that would be strengthened to accelerate the development of the state.

He noted that by developing economic blueprint, it would enhance the growth of the state and allow development to spread across the senatorial districts of the state, pointing out that it would also serve as roadmap for successive governments.

Alhaji Baraje said the state has witnessed tremendous development in the past fifty years under bothe military and civilian rules, saying that the peaceful and harmonious coexistence in the state also helped to enhance the development of the state.

He congratulated the people and government of the state on the golden jubilee anniversary with a challenge on them to look forward towards ensuring how to build the state further in the next fifty years.

Alhaji Baraje was optimistic that normalcy would return to the country, as the nation is gradually moving out of the economic recession and charged Nigerians to intensify efforts in praying for the leaders towards actualizing their political promises.
