Summit University to feed Kwara

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Hussien Oloyede, of the newly licensed Summit University in Offa, Kwara State has declared that apart from imparting knowledge on their students, the institution will also engaged in mechanised farming to feed the people of the state.

The VC disclosed this recently while speaking at a press conference to unfold the agenda of the university for the takeoff of its programmes this month.

The university with two campuses, intends to use its expanse of land for agriculture which will contribute to the economic growth of the state as well as solve food shortage problem.
