Disabled assured of protective law in Kwara

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad, has disclosed that the legislature will soon pass into law bill on rights of persons with disabilities. The bill, according to him, would give the affected people sense of belonging and enable them contribute effectively to the development of the state.

He made the disclosure when he received members of the the Advocacy Technical Team of USAID/JONAPWD Inclusive Education Project, who were on a courtesy visit to his office.

?The speaker said that when the bill became law, it would strengthen rights and privileges of the disabled.
