Over 240 postgraduate students on Monday, took the oath of matriculation at the second postgraduate matriculation ceremony of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.

The KWASU Vice-Chancellor, Professor AbdulRasheed Na'Allah, who stated these while addressing the postgraduate matriculating students for the 2015/2016 Academic Session, at the University Auditorium, said the goal of KWASU Postgraduate Programmes was not just to become a reference point for academic excellence, but to produce persons of outstanding qualities, eminence and integrity through quality teaching and research efforts.

"As ambassadors and heirs to the academic traditions of Kwara State University, I charge you to use your talents, intellect and enthusiasm to carry forward our shared commitment to the great tradition of advanced learning,".

The University's helmsman said as a research-intensive University with modern Information and Communications Technology (ICT) facilities in and outside its lecture rooms, KWASU is determined to declare a 24-hour library service upon the completion and opening of its ongoing state-of-the-art Main Library project.
