June 14: Kwara NYSC passes out 1,979 corps members

The passing-out ceremony of the 2011 Batch 'B' of the National Youth Service Corps, Kwara State, will hold on Thursday 14th June, 2012, at the Kwara State Staduim Complex, Ilorin, starting from 10:00 am.

A statement, made available to our correspondent said a total number of 1,979 corps members who have completed their one year National Service in the State, will be issued their certificates of discharge from National Service.

It added that corps members who have distinguished themselves in the area of community development service, through developmental projects of felt needs in their various hosts communities, will be presented various categories of awards.

The statement noted that His Excellency, the Excecutive Governor of Kwara State, will preside over the ceremony as special guest of Honour, review the parade, read the address of Mr. President and declare the 2011 Batch 'B' service year closed.
