Kwara govt appoints governing council for KWASU
Kwara State Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed has approved the reconstitution of a governing council for the state university in Malete.
Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, said a former federal minister, Alhaji Saidu Isa, is chairman of the new governing council. He added that members of the council include; Barr. Lateef Okandeji, Alhaji Oba Aluko, Alhaji Yusuf Babatunde AbdulWahab, Prof. Hassan Saliu, Alhaji Kola Yusuf and Hajia Fati Kadir.
The reconstitution of the new governing council according to the SSG is sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the first governing council of the university. He urged the members to justify the? confidence reposed in them.
