KWHA Reveals Names of 9 New Commissioner Nominees
Reading the names at the plenary, the Speaker, Rt Hon Dr Ali Ahmad who was represented by the Deputy Speaker, Hon Matthew Okedare said the House would do a thorough job to ensure that the nominees are properly screened? in order to prepare them for the task ahead.
The nominees according to the ?statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker, Shuaib Abdulkadir, are Alhaji Haruna Tambiri Mohammed (Edu), Alhaji Wasiu Odewale (Ifelodun), Sulyman Atolagbe Alege (Ilorin South), Mrs Saka Asiat Ayinke (Ilorin West) and Mrs Iyabo Adewuyi (Isin). Others are Hajia Dr. Amina Susa'a de Ahmed (Kaiama), Bamidele Adegoke Oladimeji(Oke-Ero), Hon Muideen Olaniyi Alalade (Oyun) and Ahmed Mohammed Rifun (Patigi) respectively.
The governor in his letter has said that in line with section 192 (2) of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Amended), he deemed it fit to forward the list of additional Commissioner -nominees for screening and confirmation.
The Speaker however directed the nominees to forward their curriculum vitae, birth certificates or declaration of age, qualification certificates, tax clearance of the last three years, sworn affidavit of not being members of any secret cult, clearance from Code of Conduct Bureau, certificate of fitness, citizenship and proof of party membership to the House Clerk latest by Thursday 5th of November.
Equally, Ahmad called on the general public to submit their petitions and questions to ?the House before the screening which was fixed for Tuesday 10th November through? screening@kwha.gov.ng
