In order to ensure a comfortable win in 2015 elections, the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has begun moves to reconcile members aggrieved over the last convention and the primaries held across the states of the federation.

The chairman of the party in the North-Central zone, Alhaji Yusuf Ayetogo, who disclosed this, yesterday, in Ilorin during the inauguration of the party's state executive council, said preparations towards 2015 general election must commence with reconciliation of aggrieved members of the party who left based on grievances.

He said: "With reconciliation, the party will wax stronger for the elections and this would consolidate the electoral victory of PDP during the forthcoming elections."

Ayetogo, who also charged members of PDP executive council in the state to set in motion machinery to reconcile aggrieved former members of the party, said that this would boost the fortune of the party. He further advised them to imbibe the spirit of team work to enable PDP continue to rule the state beyond 2015.

In his remarks, Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed of Kwara State said the official inauguration of the executive council of the party in the state was in line with the party's principle of due process. The governor, represented by his deputy, Mr. Peter Kisira, further tasked the executive members of the party to be alive to their responsibilities and thanked the national secretariat of the party for its interest in Kwara State's chapter.

Chairman of PDP in the state, Mr. Ishola Balogun-Fulani, who was sworn in along side the state Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Mas'ud Adebimpe and others, said the party would continue to rule Kwara and Nigeria.
