Kwara Police Serve Cultists, Thugs,Others Quit Notice

The new Police Commissioner in Kwara State, Esosa Amadasun on Monday announced his resolve to rid the state of cultism, thuggery, armed robbery and other crimes .

Amadasun disclose this during a visit to the fleet street at Murtala Mohammed Way, Ilorin where offices of most media correspondents are located.

Amadasun said "as for armed robbers, rapists and cultists, I don't have rooms for them in Kwara state. This is because personally, I don't have a place for them in my mind. They are hereby advised to repent, relocate or get arrested and face the full wrath of the law."

He noted with delight the efforts of the federal government at making ?life more comfortable for men and officers of the Police Force. He also condemned extortion of money by police personnel from members of the public and advised them to make contentment their priority.

The command also paraded three suspected cultists who were members of Aye Confraternity.

The commissioner said that the cultists were rusticated students of the Kwara state University (KWASU), Malete.

He also paraded one Daniel Usman for stealing Hyundai Jeep belonging to a Chinese construction company, Honggye International Limited based in Ekiti state. The vehicle's registration number is KTU32BZ with brown colour.

He added that the suspect "had since confessed to the remover of the vehicle from the company's yard at Ado Ekiti enroute to Abuja for sale. The suspect further said he was forced unto crime by his Chinese national site manager simply known as Mr. Xans.
