Press Release - Senate Presidency: North Central Caucus Hails APC Leadership Over Zoning.
The North Central caucus which is made up of APC State Chairmen of the North Central zone namely; Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, Niger and Plateau States described the zoning arrangement as fair and just.
The North Central caucus of our great party, the APC, wishes to express its satisfaction with the official decision of our great party at the highest level of decision making to zone the office of the Senate President to the North Central geo-political zone.
We commend the National leadership of our party for taken this fair and just decision even in face of intensified pressure from our sister zones.
There is no doubt that this zoning arrangement reflects a rich understanding of the diversity of Nigerians and the geography of the nation.
For us in the North Central zone, work has just started.
And we can assure the National leadership of our party that the office of the Senate President would help to consolidate on our successes in the recently conducted general election where we delivered 100 per cent state Governors and 13 Senators to the APC.
